Is there a mosquito repellent out there on the market that wins high
praises with the experienced traveler?

Answer:
-I was pretty happy with Permetherin. You
apply it to your clothes and it lasts for about
two weeks ot two washings (whichever
happens first Then you have to re-apply. When I combined Permetherin with a
25% Deet bracelet - nothing bit me. (And usually everything does). Not organic,
but it worked.
-If you are in India, you can get a product called
"Odomas"...highly effective and without any side effects.
Available in general shops and chemists thru out India. The
packaging is in form of a tooth paste.
-My only advice on this point is : Think Local.
Mosquitoes are different from one place to another (Norway, Canada,
Florida, Vietnam, India, ...). You find the best product in local shops,
everywhere around the world.
