Question:
I just returned from a trip to discover that I have somehow introduced
a few small holes into the mosquito netting panel of my SD convertible
tent. Does anyone have recommendations for how to best prevent these
holes from becoming bigger? I have considered melting the nylon and
duct tape. The first option seems dicey; I may cause bigger problems.
The second option seems messy. Is their a good commercial product for
this purpose?

Most little tiny holes in mosquito net can be easily repaired with a
zig-zag sewing machine, preferably using a 3-step zip zag. You can
reinforce if you want by putting a little piece of netting underneath where
you are doing the repair. DO NOT melt it! You can get mosquito net from
