I have looking at a couple of new devices, they both work on co2 principle.
Has anybody tried thes yet?

Answer:
I haven't bought one yet, but I was looking at the Mosquito Magnet.
It's very expensive ( US$495 ) and for amodel that works on 1 acre of
land. Their web site displays several studies and testimonials backing
up their claims of high performance. But they also claim that the
female mosquitoes will be captured after 4-6 weeks of continuous use.
I'm going to live in the Eastern Townships ( Québec ) and the
"mosquito season" there lasts about a month; so I'm considering using
repellent for that short period rather than shelling out a lot of
money for a machine.
But does the mosquito season last long enough further south to warrant
using one of these machines ?
