environmennt friendly mosquito control

Question:
My company, Mosquito Solutions, recently became distributor of a product called the Mosquito Killing System.

MKS is a revolutionary mosquito control device developed with technical assistance from NASA. The MKS attracts and kills biting mosquitoes by simulating the infrared (heat) signature of their natural prey. Mosquitoes are attracted and then drawn into the unit where they are electrocuted quickly and quietly.

MKS is a great, clean and effective method to control mosquitoes in an amazing one-acre area. And it is environment friendly as it does so without toxic chemicals or dangerous pesticides.

I would be grateful if some visitors to this forum would be kind enough to comment on our web page and on our product. We can be found on line at

mosquitosolutions.com

Thank you for your consideration.

Answer:
Looks interesting. I'd like to see some of the figures for the tests which have been carried out. Have you carried out release and capture tests, and if so what proportion of mosquitoes are caught over what period of time? What impact does ambient temp. have upon the effectiveness of the system? What impact does availability of alternative attractions (warm bodies) have upon effectiveness? I'm sure you are happy with the system, but there are a lot of 'off the wall' pest control thingies out there. Show me the data, and I'll consider it as an option. and yes, after 23 years in this business, you're right, I'm cynical!!!
